Dear Friends:
On behalf of Providence House, I am pleased to extend this invitation to our Annual People of Hope Celebration, which will be held on the evening of Thursday, June 7, 2012 at The Water Club in New York City.
Our honorees that evening reflect the true diversity and impact of Providence House in the community. Receiving the People of Hope Award, H. Craig and Lora Beth Treiber are active philanthropists who have been generous contributors to Providence House for several years. Mr. Treiber is Area Chairman of The Treiber Group in Garden City, NY, one of the largest property and casualty insurance brokers in the country.
This year’s recipient of the Foundress Award is Nadine Bell, a 1993 “graduate” of Providence House’s program serving homeless women in New Rochelle, NY. A wonderful role model for our clients, for the past seven years Nadine has been an exemplary employee of Providence House, serving as a House Manager, even as she has also been a devoted mother of three children, including one with special needs.
Finally, we will present a special Memorial Award in honor of Susan Rohan, one of our most important and devoted board members, who passed away last year. Accepting the award will be Susan’s husband, Vincent Rohan.
Event Chairs for the evening are Hercules Argyriou and George Poulon of Mega Contracting.
