Dear Friends:
The Providence House 30th Anniversary People of Hope Celebration was a very special evening, as we celebrated the impact the agency has had on the lives of the more than 12,000 women and children who have been served during the past 30 years.
The funds raised from the deep generosity of our donors and benefactors will directly support our programs and services that help the residents find a permanent place to live, secure employment, obtain health care, as well as other services that will assist them on the path toward independence. On their behalf, I express my gratitude.
At the event, we especially recognized two outstanding individuals, Fran Sullivan and Royce Mulholland, both who share a commitment to our mission, as demonstrated by their personal generosity of time, talent and resources to the programs of Providence House. In addition, we recognized The Junior League of Westchester on the Sound, represented by Meg Tym, their President. The Junior League has been extremely supportive of our Westchester programs, for which we too are grateful.
My wishes to you for a blessed summer and I look forward to seeing you at the 2010 People of Hope Celebration!
