This new residence has been a massive undertaking for our staff and community partners, but there’s no doubt the effort was worth it as we welcome each of the 59 new families into these brand new apartments. This facility also opens up more opportunities for residents to join staff and volunteers in various activities; these moments are aimed at building the sense of community that’s imperative when finding a sense of safety and stability. Whether it's a crafting time for kids or yoga classes for adults, your support of our East New York residence will help us purchase what we need to turn this sterile conference room into the perfect place to learn new skills and make new friends.
